Welcome to another season of swimming, salt water
and socialising at AASC.
Week 1 started bright and sunny, and it was great to see a decent turnout (it can be tough getting used to those early starts on a Saturday). Brilliant to see so many old faces, plus we also had some new members to the club, so welcome to those families!
Here’s the Millar/Lester clan lining up for a family race – I’m pretty sure young Evie would have wiped the floor in this one.
Week 2 saw another good turnout and plenty of brave souls swimming the 400m.
After a huge number of qualifications in week 1 (good to see the kids have been swimming in the off-season), Sam Barry and Rosalie Bouf shared SoTW this week for their double qualifications. Well done kids! (Rosalie not pictured as she was away).
